hi everybody. I am new here. I have a problem that there are lots of script codes shared here but ı really have no idea how to transform those codes into lua or bas files.
Cut & paste the text into an editor like Notepad, save as a file with either a .lua or .bas extension as needed ( i.e. test123.lua or test321.bas), and then transfer the file to the SCRIPTS folder on your SD card. Launch CHDK, go to the Scripts menu, load the file, and press the shutter button fully to run it.
If you are just looking at code fragements, you will probably need to add a header to the file. There is a lot of information about CHDK scripting here :
