Hi all,
        Is there a script that will instruct the camera to consider the full range of values (iso, shutter speed, and aperture) of which the camera is capable; either pre-programmed  or entered by the user?

If you mean something that will trick the Canon automatic exposure firmware into using an extended range, then no. 

There are scripts that will let you experiment under script control : CHDK+ Lua Script

I also came up with this a couple of years ago.  Ran out of time but that's no longer an issue so I'd like to get back to it :  CHDK UI version 3.0 ?
