libusb drivers work, but only one camera at a time???

I don't know if this is the right place for this, but the knowledge base here has always impressed me.  If I should post it somewhere else please let me know.

I've been using CHDK and CHDK PTP for a number of years with zero issues.  I'm running Windows 7 and have three G9s connected via a USB hub into the PC.  Up until I recently changed motherboards I could have all three on at the same time and switch between them in the CHDK PTP GUI.  Since the new motherboard I've used libusb to create three new drivers for the three cameras.  (By the way, after you create a driver - if you want to create another and put it into the same directory you need to delete the two installer files that the libusb wizard puts there first)  Now only one camera at a time is allowed on by Windows, or so it seems.  I turn on one, it shows up in Device Manager under libusb-win32 devices.  I turn on the second and I get a du-du-du sound and it shows up under USB controllers as a Unknown Device.
This is the same Windows installation I was using before.  Same hard drives, same USB hub, same everything except motherboard, processor and RAM.  Any help would be appreciated

Well, problem solved.  Not sure why.  The cameras were going into a small four port USB 2.0  hub which then went into a large USB 3.0 hub which connected to one of the motherboard Intel USB 3.0 ports.  I switched the connection from the 3.0 hub to an add-in card with four 3.0 ports and now everything works like it always has.
I seems like there's an issue with the driver for the Intel 3.0 USB port, but I expect if it is a bug it will never be fixed given this is a Z270 board that would need Windows 7 drivers.  Oh well, if this is the biggest problem I run into I'll be happy.

Glad you found a workaround. A couple of notes:

1) For old cameras that don't report a serial number over PTP, the driver can be specific to the physical port. I'm not sure how this interacts with hubs or multiple cameras of the same model.
2) Zadig (https://zadig.akeo.ie/) may be more convenient than the configurator included with libusb (It's required on windows 10, where it pretty much seems to Just Work for me. I haven't had a 7 install for many years so I don't know how it works there.)
Don't forget what the H stands for.
