I made a movie with my Canon camera (IXUS 127 HS model), and unlike other movies, I can't download it to my PC.

The movie is more than 10 minutes long, perhaps that's the trouble.

I use CHDK PTP to transfer files from the camera to the computer.
When I hit download, the download starts, but the file on my PC is zero size, it didn't download properly.
When I view file properties, it says the file size is: -2025752844
Negative file size. This is the root of the problem, I think.
Still, I can view the movie on my camera, it is there.

What can I do to save my movie?

I'll take a look to see if there's a bug I can fix with large files in chdkptp. In the meantime, I'd suggest you use a card reader to transfer the file.

edit:
Looks like the CHDK camera side will fail for files larger than 2 GB. I'll work on a fix.

Card reader saved my file.
It was indeed 2.1 GB.
