Hi! I have a Canon EOS M6 and I'm trying to disable "Display Off" 30-minute limit so that I can livestream with the camera.

I've been looking through the forums, and haven't found anything conclusive on Canon EOS M6 support for CHDK. I see M3 and M10, and there's a few mentions of the M6 as if these CHDK builds are maybe interchangeable?

Any help on this would be huge, I find myself reading the same threads on this forum over and over again and I'm still pretty lost on next steps

Builds for other models will definitely not work on M6.

It might be possible for CHDK to support M6 in the future, but it's a Digic 7 camera and we have not yet figured out how to boot CHDK on digic 7.

It's possible that the display off change you want could be accomplished with a Canon Basic script. See https://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=13489.0 as an example. That does not do what you want, but might provide a starting point.

Thanks for clearing that up! I've seen that thread but it didn't really click in my head until you differentiated that Canon Basic is different from CHDK.

Trying a few different script variations today, hopefully one works.
