Hi I just got an M3, I wanted to be able to do clean HDMI out for recording through hdmi.

I have looked around for the versions and I do not see any version for EOS m3, the long list on the CHDK website has a bunch of powershots and I am not sure which one is compatible.

I have installed ML on other canons but this is the first time trying CHDK.

Can someone help me with the links to the correct files?

I am on mac is that makes a difference but if there is only windows options I can do that too.

With a Mac the simplest way to install CHDK for your M3 is to use my STICK java app. It will prepare the SD card and download and copy the files for you.

ok thank you. I was able to install everything on the card using STICK. It then asked to lock the card and insert on the camera and start the camera using the play button however when I do that the camera starts normally and it just says locked card. When I go to the firmware menu I don have an option to upgrade firmware.

I am on version 101 btw.

Something must gave gone wrong with the install. Can you email me the log (it's the file 'sticklog.txt' in the same folder as the app).

Thanks for your help man, have sent it. I tried it twice, same issue
