Does anyone know if one can get access to cam specific data from Lua, I'm looking to either directly know or calculate/estimate the sensor's pixel pitch.

There isn't a general way to get camera specific characteristics. Some things are exposed through various functions, others aren't. Pixel pitch isn't. Sensor resolution is exposed in https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/Lua/Raw_Hook_Operations but sensor physical size is not defined anywhere explicitly in CHDK.

That is helpful, as I can get a good idea of the sensors size, ie crop, from knowing the CoC, which I can get from dof.info
