Could someone point me to the CHDK source and ideally  the area that deals with the depth of field stuff.


I wish to check a few things. Only reading  ;)

If you are going to do any more than a cursory look, I'd suggest doing an SVN checkout of https://subversion.assembla.com/svn/chdk/trunk/, so you can use grep or other search tools locally.

I was intending to go through the dof code, check it, and identify proposed changes, which I'll alert to you ;-)
