I have wrapped up a 360degree art project and have 22x of these CHDK compatible cameras for sale. They are $30 each or the lot for $500. I also have enough SD cards for all of them $5 each. Pick up Bowral or can post at your expense. If you want the lot there are lots of extra firing cables, extension leads, splitters etc.

Wow - seems like it's only been seven years since your last post.  Oh, wait,  it has been seven years.

Did you ever publish any of the results from your "big ball of cameras" project?  I think people here would love to see whatever you have.
