hi! I just learned from youtube there's a workaround regarding removing camera overlay and I guess I just came here to ask for help regarding my problem with my camera. I wanted to use my camera for streaming so I went and bought all the equipment needed for the job (dummy batter, hdmi, capture card) not knowing I would encounter this problem. The lcd turns off when idle. Now when it turns off, obs doesn't recognize it anymore so I have to manually press any button to have lcd display. I tried everything and I think I may need to do some tinkering.
My camera is an old g5x. I don't have any idea what I'm about to do. Please help. Thanks!
