Sorry to ask another question, but I can’t seem to find if CHDK Lua gives you access to the sensor’s physical size, ie in mm?

Sensor size isn't defined anywhere in CHDK. You could guess based on the CoC value from dofinfo, but I make no promise as to how accurate those are.

We could add sensor size if someone wants to go through the specs of all ~160 models.

Ok.

I’ll introduce a user input into my landscape bracketing script. 

I need the sensor size to work out magnification for my spilt thin lens model. Which  becomes ‘important’ at/towards the macro end.

At the moment only the M3 version of the script has the spilt lens model.

I’ll update the scripts area text when I publish the new code.

M-Series = APS-C = 22.20 * 14.80  // 26.68mm
   CoC=19
G-Series = 1" = 12.80 * 9.60  // 16mm
   CoC=11
S-Series = 1/1.7" = 7.6 * 5.7  // 9.5mm
   CoC=6
1/2.3" = 6.17 * 4.55  // 7.67mm
   CoC=5

Note the G* X series are mostly 1", except the G1 X. The original G series are AFAIK mostly (if not all) 1/1.7
