CHDK 1.4.1 - How to override the NORMAL focus mode to MACRO.

My camera's firmware (Powershot A580) has this option (of switching from NORMAL to MACRO), but everytime I power down the camera and turn it back on, the focus mode changes back to normal. I'm looking for a way to permanently change this setting to MACRO. I don't need very detailed responses/replies. Only what I should look for. Thank you!

P.S. I already have a general idea of scripts, so any pointer regarding the use of these would be very useful.

 :) Often seen: Scripted keystrokes.
Code: [Select]
click "set"
sleep(100)
click "left"
sleep(500)
click "set"
sleep(100)

Thank you so much! Actually, the first line should also be "left" (for the PowerShot A580 model).

P.S. I also managed to make the "Set date/time" dialog skip all by itself (if it makes any sense  :P ).
