Aperture control in CHDK

Hey guys,

I've been playing around with the latest AllBest build over the weekend and I have noticed there is a way to control the shutter speed in the AllBest menu structure. Although this is quite useful I'm wondering if there is a way of controlling the aperture as well without using a script? I'm planning on getting some pics of lightning (using MD7 I think) soon and would like some control of the aperture.  ::)

Thanks,
SuperSized

EDIT - Camera = SD700IS

AFAIK Canon SD cams don't have an iris diaphragm, they use a NeutralDensity filter,
which you can control from CHDK. Do a forum search for "ND filter" and you'll find
lots of topics..

So that thing has no real aperture? That means that setting it at F8 for landscapes is actually going to make the images worse?
