They've been senting out email about this for over a month.  I'm still not sure how well the formatting with move over.   The  CHDK Scripting Cross Reference Page worried me a lot.  And the main page is complicated enough to worry me too.  I'm hoping the User Manual is okay as it's fairly standard wiki markup so we will see.

Looks like migration is finished now. The old engine had a special page
Code: [Select]
https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/Special:Insights/popularpageswith page visit counts, haven't been able to find anything similar among the new special pages. Anyone knows a replacement?

From a quick look, things seem pretty OK.

I don't, sounds like a question for wikia.

Another update on the way:
https://community.fandom.com/wiki/Help:FandomDesktop

https://community.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:MisterWoodhouse/Introducing_FandomDesktop,_the_new_look_and_feel_for_desktop_users

I tried opting in to the new style, formatting seems OK, a bunch of the red colors are changed to green / teal, but importing the old theme in the theme editor gets it back pretty close to what it was in "light" mode ( "Dark mode" uses the default colors). It sounds like this will happen automatically when they switch it over:

Quote
Wikis which have not yet taken the time to apply custom theming on FandomDesktop will have their themes automatically converted for them, according to the same logic as the Theme Designer import feature, at the time of their wiki’s rollout.

So my plan is to leave it alone until they do the automatic upgrade, and fix up anything that needs fixing after that.

If you opt in to the new style, you can switch back under preferences -> appearance (until they do the final migration)

The migration to the new theme appears to have been done. The default version seems OK, a few things are ugly but legible. Dark the (accessed from the moon icon in the top nav) is quite ugly and has some legibility issues.

edit:
The "mobile site" option in the footer is also pretty rough.
