Hi, I've also installed CHDK on my G7 X Mk2 and it seems to be working fine except for two glitches.
- The battery and time elements on the display seem to flicker whenever AF is triggered. Maybe they can be removed from the display?
- I have not been able to find the button to go into <ALT> mode: The [play] button only goes to playback mode, not ALT mode
Have you been able to resolve these?

The default ALT button on the G7X2 is the WiFi button on the side of the camera.
You can change this, and disable the other OSD elements, in the CHDK settings.
