Hello Everyone at CHDK forum. From a newbie who is very excited about CHDK!
I have a bit unique question. It will be great if I can get some directions or suggestion.  Also wondering if someone else tried this. I would like my camera to...

1. Turn on to Rec Mode
2. Take Picture (when triggered by external micro controller)
3. Turn off/ Go to Play Mode
4. Print the last Picture on a portable printer via Pictbridge cable (it usually takes to press OK buttons few times)
5. When the picture is printed, go back to Rec Mode (takes about 1 minutes or more)

the camera will be triggered via a micro controller (arduino) and CHDK
I have SD 1000 at the moment. Im thinking of buying A570, especially because of recent discoveries about DIAL MODE control.

Thanks for reading. I will respond to any questions or suggestion. Let me know if somethings are not stated clearly. I am only beginning to understand CHDK, please pardon some ignorance. =)

Has the ability to switch between play and record mode been added yet ?

I REALLY need this feature so that pictures can be downloaded automatically.  I would even be willing to pay for somone to add this support!!!

See 'play_mode' and 'record_mode' on this page http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/sdm/ubasic.htm

Most cameras are supported, some recent ones may not be.
