Woohoo! My first one.
This is after about 2 dozen shots of nothing. Captured from a passing midday storm, ISO set to 10, aperture set smallest. All I saw was the flicker. I didn't actually see the bolt while I was standing right next to the tripod until the LCD review showed it because it was too bright out.
Can't wait for a good evening heat storm! :)

Nice indeed. I had some good lightning yesterday but I was surrounded by trees etc. I don't really know of a wide open place near me so unfortunately I didn't get anything spectacular. Just some 'light' pictures and only 3 (pathetic) strikes, with 2-second exposures. Also, my camera triggered on raindrops lots of times because my sun hood was too small to keep the lens dry :(
Anyway, good to see that it'll probably also work at 1/60 :)

Uhh... my browser (Opera). Why? Exiftool shows the same values in the Makernotes? :)

Uhhh....Oh.
lol I don'r run Opera, so I wouldn't know. I have to use a program to view it, so I just wondered, that's all.

Today an underwater housing should arrive (bought it more or less for the beach,as in dust/sand/spray), havent even thought about using it in thick rain yet,ha.will do.
