Custom Auto ISO - Can't get User factor to work on A720IS

Hi

I'm the happy owner of the Powershot A720IS and Allbest build 50.
Until now, I have used the functions with success but I have problems with the User Factor setting in the "Custom Auto ISO".
It seems like it does not account for focal length (FL) at all. When I extend to 210mm it still gives me shutter speed of 1/60 without raising iso.
The minimal shutter speed works fine.

Here are my custom Auto Iso Settings:

Minimal shutter speed: 1/60
User factor: 6
IS factor: 1
Max ISO HI (x10): 26 (around market 400)
Max ISO auto (x10): 13 (around market 200)
Min ISO (x10): 5 ( around market 80)

And of course, custom auto iso is enabled, iso is set to auto and I'm operating in P mode (program mode)

Hope someone can help me

I can't believe that nobody has any experience with this setting.

Can anyone confirm that that "User Factor" setting works in any camera at all?

What happens if you set minimal shutter speed to "auto"  ?  I didn't try, but I'm afraid in your case minimal shutter speed would be 1/60 regardless the zoom position
