Canon S2 IS CHDK Raw files will not open...

Greetings to all, this is my first post...

I am a Mac user. After loading the appropriate CHDK software (as determined by checking the firmware on my camera), my S2 has indeed recorded raw files. Using a card reader, I have tried opening the resulting .CRW and .CR2 files in the latest ACR software, DNG Converter, and ImageBrowser. No luck!

Normally, I shoot exclusively raw with a Canon G9, using ACR. I work in the digital imaging field as a retoucher. But I am at an impasse at this point. I have cruised through the CHDK FAQ, looked through the manual, but I'm stumped. Admittedly, I am not a code-geek. Can somebody offer some suggestions? I just want to squeeze a little more IQ out of this aging S2!

Thanks in advance, ladies and gentlemen... :)

You'll find the answer (DNG4PS-2) in the FAQ here

fe50, Hello and thanks! I'm in business!

vine, sorry to churn your coffee. The site is not UI-intuitive to some new users (me), and amidst the clutter, I could not find what I needed. The helpful approach of fe50 is appreciated.

Hi, Stephen
We are trying some new (bie) approach on the matter, so, if you could spent some time reading this and making some criticism, we'll appreciate it.

Be welcome and enjoy CHDKing!
