Shutter limit in aperture priority

I use my camera sometimes for rally racing photography and sometimes it happened that I took pictures in aperture priority but I would've wanted the camera to not increase the exposure time over a certain value.
let's say there's a bright scene and I want the camera to set the fastest possible shutter and then there's another darker scene in which I want to let the camera choose the time but not expose it longer than a certain value (let's say 1/320 or 1/125) even if the photo comes out darker (I prefer it darker than unclear as I move the camera to follow the moving cars).
is it possible to do something to make the camera set the time only in a certain time range for action photos?

so far in order to avoid long exposures I had to set an aperture and shutter in manual mode and in a multi-shot I may get both underexposed and overexposed photos if a (white) car let's say moves from shadow to sunlight in a forest.

Nope, it doesn't. What camera do you have?
