@philmoz

I hope you can help with some info.

I know that I need to adjust the x dimension by 60, ie offset zero to 60, if I’m displaying on the EVF rather than the LCD screen.

From what I can see I need to also do this if I’m tapping into the HDMI feed out, or is it different? Also the y dimension is different, or is it?

Once I know the offsets, I can add that to my script, so everything looks ok on an external monitor.

So, can you throw some info my way regarding the various sizes of the XIMR drawing area vs the other output ‘buffers’.

Cheers

Garry

On the cameras I checked, the CHDK bitmap for HDMI output is 480 x 270 - it is 360 x 240 for LCD display.

  g12 (1.00c, 1.00e, 1.00f & 1.00g)
  sx130is (1.01d & 1.01f)
  ixus310hs (1.00a & 1.01a)
  sx40hs (1.00d, 1.00g & 1.00i)
  g1x (1.00e, 1.00f & 1.00g)
  g5x (1.00c, 1.01a, 1.01b)
  g7x2 (1.01a, 1.01b, 1.10b)
