I have just installed the latest version of ALLBEST on my Canon S5. Everything seems to be alright, but the question that I have is that there is a white bar that is going across the bottom of the screens. It goes only half way, and I was wondering what that was. It is right under the shutter speed

Check you OSD layout. It's the "remaining disk space" bar most likely.
