Recently ı wonder if i can use any android device as a External Monitor for Powershot models (SX500IS in my case)

I searched but couldnt find anything that can help me with this.

Is it possible? And if so, can anyone show me a way to do it?

Thank you

Short answer: No

Longer answer:
In theory, it could be possible to use the CHDK PTP Extension to display live view on an Android device, but AFAIK no one has written a client to do this.

The SX500 also supports shooting while using analog SD video out (NTSC/PAL with Canon adapter AVC-DC400/DC400ST), so theoretically if there's a capture device which works with Android you could use that.

HDMI out on these cameras is only enabled for playback (except on a couple EOS M and G* X models), so you cannot use an external HDMI display or capture device for shooting.
Don't forget what the H stands for.
