Can't get into CHDK menu with remote keys. ALT-menu appears sometimes shortly and disappears immediately.

Unfortunately, this is expected behavior. CHDK doesn't allow sending key presses to CHDK over PTP, only to the original firmware.

You can set most options in the CHDK menu using set_config_value in Lua script.
