Hi, I'm looking for ver 1.3 or 1.4,  for my G12 firm 1.00e
Is there an archive somewhere?
Thank you.

See https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/Downloads#Conserved_Versions

The 1.4 archive has full builds. For 1.3 and earlier, only the small zip is provided an you need to also install the files from _common_files.zip

Is there a specific reason you're looking to run old versions? If something is wrong with the current builds, we'd like to know.

Thanks, I see only selected models are there. the chdk-full-bins-1.4.1.5569-md5sums.txt file have codes listed
I don't know what to modify in order to have the proper G12 1.00e chdk files.
**I didn't used CHDK in very long time, I had a 2GB card with 0.9.9 for years.Recently I got 4GB card that is the max for the G12 FAT but I see that the 1.6 OSD is flickering and tons of settings probably useless for the 13 years old G12.
Thank you
*** OMG  :lol , I just noticed that I was only on first page ... on page 11 there is the G12 100e files :lol

***** Well, 1.4 is no good G12 gets very warm and battery drains quickly. 10% in just few minutes.

FWIW, I don't think flickering should be worse in modern versions, though possibly OSD defaults are different in a way that makes it more obvious. As far as settings go, they should be as applicable to G12 as any other cams.

Also if you still have the 2gb card and you're happy with the version that was on it, you should be able to just copy the files.

and this did not happen with other CHDK versions, or without CHDK? What were you doing with the camera when this happened? (shooting, just sitting in playback or shooting mode?)

If the battery is similar age to the camera, it might drain quickly due to age, independent of CHDK. I would be be very surprised if CHDK made a camera run noticeably hotter just sitting, but I have been surprised before.
