I just used the small piece of code from Dataghost's branch (dg_dump_firmware) to dump the firmware of my IXUS 860IS.
Comparing it to the one which was blinked by RyeBrye (
SD870IS Firmware dumping) I noticed some differences where RyeBrye's dump has sections of '00'. In my dump there seems to be some code/data.
Probably this might be useful for improving/fixing the IXUS860/SD870 CHDK.
