For what it's worth now, Adorama is jerking me around with my A720 IS RMA. I've had to make two shipments, on my dime, and instead of honoring the warranty, it looks like they're going to just refund (not counting any money I have spent on shipping).

Basically, I spent $20 for the privilege of having an hour or two of hassle, stress, and to be over a month without a camera.

For dutch canon buyers: I bought my A590IS at kamera express. It was about 130 Euro at the time while it was close to 200 in most other places. They have a store in Capelle a/d IJssel and an online store.
I haven't had any dealings with customer service yet but I hear they are ok.
