CardTricks fried my MicroSD card

I was using CardTricks to format my MicroSD card so I could put CHDK on it directly, but after attempting to format the card, I got an error message saying that the card could not be formatted.  So I remove the card and put it back into my computer. Upon doing that, I get an error message saying the following:

Windows will not recognize the disk, nor will it format it or check it for errors. When clicking on the disk in Windows Explorer, it says to insert a new disk into Removable Disk (G:).  My camera will not format the disk, and my phone will not format the disk either.

The card is a 1 GB Kingston MicroSD card. There wasn't anything on the card. Is there anything I can do so I can resume use of the card?

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but this is the forum where I saw the download link for CardTricks.
