Oopsie. Disabled the cronjob earlier that day because i was testing something.

Should be done in about 20 minutes. (Was testing be build time on the server - takes 18 minutes with gcc4. AMD Opteron 1212 HE dual core @ 2 Ghz)

So I take it there is still no support for saving the files as .DNG? When I turn on DNG, my raw files still save as CRW/CR2.

I just tried it, renamed CRW to DNG, and it loads fine in IrfanView.
Since Irfan refuses to load the same file as CRW ('bad header or unknown format'),
and the color balance looks fine on my A620, so i suppose it works OK.
It's quite fast too, didn't 'feel' a difference with 'normal' RAW.

PS It would be great if the 'RAW XXX' in OSD would change to 'DNG xxx' when DNG activated

Right, that works for me too, I just mean, that CHDK doesn't save the DNG files with the .dng extension, it's still .crw or .cr2.

tested new build on my ixus70 and it works fine, also crw saving time is very fast with option raw buffer save enable.
one thing i found out on my cam is that the image size is different between CHDK Raw and DNG Raw
jpg = 3072x2304 = 7077888
crw = 3112x2328 = 7244736
dng = 3108x2324 = 7222992

Image is saved as CRW_XXXX.CRW not as *.DNG so i have to rename the file to *.DNG right?
loading *.CRW to Irfanview works

One other thing - the Thumbnail image in the dng seems to have false colors or wrong white balance? it looks purple

after all i think this is a big step forward - big thanks to ewavr, MartinBudden and all the other great devs

Yes, but DNG contains all pixels from CHDK RAW.

Maybe, because I calibrated thumbnail colors only for my camera.  If image if overexposed, it may look pink.

Is it normal that DNG doesn't work with S2is camera ?

In firmware CHDK-s2is-100g-0.8.1 i have dng option but it isn't possible to activate it and i have RAW buffer cached option
In firmware s2is-100g-0.8.2-591-full i have dng option and i can activate it but i doesn't work and the RAW buffer cached isn't there.

Ewavr, I worked to make a User Manual to store in the memory card of the camera, in order to be used like a guide for the users of CHDK.

One issue not well described yet is the DNG support of the new builds.

YES with a badpixel.bin ( post 42 ) the firmware CHDK-s2is-100g-0.8.1 work with the DNG option but not the 0.8.2
