First Results with Home Made "40D00106.FIR"

"Please check memory card and unload battery and try again." :-(

The program to assemble a home made .fir file seems to be working properly.
I've tried with just the home made file on the card, and with the home made file and 40D00105.FIR on the card. I also tried making a BIG home made .fir file (~8megs). I get the same results. I don't get a list of files to choose from, so the installed firmware is doing some error checking. Maybe I don't have the check sum right yet. I'll go over the code again.

i don't know if this counts for anything but if you are using a CF card over 1GB you will, in all likelihood, encounter errors like these. hope this helps. so looking forward to the 40d firmware developed here in chdk
