Can anyone shed light on the TX-1 HiRes movie mode?

As the TX-1 has now been decrypted, has anyone found the routine that handles the 1280x720 movie mode?
If so, is it software upscaling or does the TX-1 CCD natively support this high resolution?

Do any of the CHDK developers believe this could be ported to other cams?

As a side note, I've been shooting 6 mb/sec video on a G7 & the quality looks awesome! Cheers CHDK team!
