Any future for the a580 and chdk?

I have tried cardtricks dumper without luck but willing to provide any info i can if it will help with a release for this camera.

I have just bought an A580, and also had no luck with any methods of dumping the firmware.

I think we can verify from here on that its A580 and onwards that has the block on this process.  :(

Can you guys please test if the new udump2008 works on A580 ? It's really easy with this:

Well I was going to post the 1.01b firmware dump and stings files but the forum
won't allow anything over 1024kb and the rar file of just the dump is 1514kb.... if someone can fix this
then I'll put in the firmware dump.

I just bought an A580 and managed to get a 1.01b firmware dump using CardTricks v1.39 (NewDRYOS).
Strangely enough, I also tried using the newer CardTricks v1.40, but couldn't get anything at all.
Anyway, I've uploaded the dump along with the strings file to zSHARE.
