CHDK ver: allbest, #51-404
Camera: a650

I took some pictures with ISO3200 (the one in the SCN mode), converted the images with DNG4PS-2 v0.2.2 beta25, the DNGs can not be opened by lightroom, ACDSee, and FSviewer. Other ISO modes works well.

will RawTherapee be able to open the DNG?

The same problem (image is broken) exists on G7 in ISO3200 SCN mode. I got full memory dump at shooting (not RAW buffer only) and not found any valid RAW data. Maybe in this mode camera has different behavior (CCD reading mode differs from usual). Maybe, this problen cannot be solved, sorry  :'(

No, raw theapee v2.4m1 does not open it, either.

on a650 once i succeded to open a raw made at iso3200 but i don't remember how...
i saw only few hundred of lines with valid data on the top side of the image
but in iso3200 mode probaly makes only live preview readout instead of full readout.
why?
because using iso3200scene, raw buffer contains strange data and the burst shot rate is higher, about 3-4 fps
