So the way I understand it, when I open, in Lightroom,  a .dng from a CHDK .crw, the 'As Shot' white balance setting is the same as 'Auto'.   This is because the .dng does not contain any info on what the camera selected as its white balance.  Yeah?

Well I was working in Raw Therapee today.  And the white balance method of 'Camera' is *not* the same as the white balance method of 'Auto'.  So where is Raw Therpee getting it's 'Camera' setting?

Raw Therapee cannot get any WB settings from CHDK raw. As I know, it simply sets the WB to a fixed default value of 6504 while built-in WB value is missing.

Interesting.  I never thought to look if it was using a constant value...

Can you post what the "adjusted" values that work for you are, as I am using Raw Tharapee, also?
Thanks!
Whoa-Hey! Careful where you point that thing. You're gonna shoot someone!

Well, that will be different for each image...depending on the lighting of the scene...
