Amazing lightning shot.
The Flickr image is rotated with an uneven white border.
How about a full-rez or even the RAW?

That is just a perfect perfect shot...! If you don't blow that up onto a huge canvas or poster print you are a muppet!!  I'd have something like that pride of place for all to see... when they ask where you bought it... brag away!! haha!

Definitely a great picture.
You threw that thunderbolts to compose a perfect shot :-)

Two suggestions:

1) It needs to be straightenet a tiny bit more (I see you have already straightened, but not enough)
2) As you say you have the RAW, it would probably be a good candidate to do some some very light tonemapping. (unless you already did that)

I envy you for this shot!!!

Right after uploading to flickr, I realized I forgot to crop the image after rotating.  Ill get that fixed with picnik after I upgrade my account.

I unfortunately do not have the RAW for this shot.  I must have turned RAW off or accidently deleted it.  I have the RAW files for a couple of other lightning shots, but those aren't nearly as good as this one.  All that was done was color adjustments/slight crop/resizing to the jpg.

Thanks for the feedback!  And I am definately planning on ordering a large print-out, probably tomorrow!

Would be great to see a pic of this when and if you get it blown up and on the wall!
