I'm using an olympus c-7000 now. I've been looking for a new compact size camera with an optical viewfinder and can zoom while recording video. (also at least 5x zoom, around 4.0 x 2.3 x 1.7in or smaller). Are there any that you would recommend?
Looking through this site, I think I have narrowed it down to the A720, G9, or SD890IS but I'd appreciate any suggestions. I'd just like to verify that these three actually do support zooming while recording video. If the wiki says that the port is "complete", does that mean that all features (like zooming in videos) are supported?
I'd also like to find out if one of these cameras is alot louder when zooming than the other.
