Preventing your camera from shutting off during motion detection?

Is there any way to tell your camera (s5IS) from shutting down when running the motion detection hack? It works great when there are objects moving in front of it, but when there isn't, the camera goes into sleep mode which i don't want it to do, especially since i purchased the power cable.

any help?

Misc menu -> Disable LCD off
Set this parameter to "Script". That should prevent camera from switching off during script execution.

shweeet my cable will do me good now

what other tricks like this in the menu would you recommend? I'm not quite familar with the other functions other than to load the scripts and to adjust the sensitivity. i also know how to change the shutter speed for water shots, but thats all to the extent of my knowledge.
