This is a feature that was on my old Olympus C-730 that I wish was on my current S3-IS. When in the normal shooting modes, the left and right buttons on the directional rocker should be made adjust the white balance up and down. I hate having to go into the function menu to change this, with all the on screen junk it puts there. I should be able to just look in the view finder, and use the left and right buttons to lighten and darken the scene until it's just right. I would love to see this added to CHDK
