Save settings when updating to newest chdk version

I'm assuming that I will loose my customised settings for chdk (such as icon screen positions) if I load a new version of CHDK?

It would be great to be able to export/save these settings to a text file on the SD card and then import/load them after installing the new CHDK version.

Cheers

You wont lose settings.the only way you could lose settings would be to switch the 'flavour' of chdk,ie replace allbest with SDM.when you use the same branch of chdk, the cfg file will be upwards compatible.

I assumed the settings were stored within the chdk program itself as I couldn't see any cfg file? Where is the cfg file?

cheers
