A pretty intense storm last night in Columbus, OH. I was able to get about 12 decent shots out my window. Attached is one of the better ones. I used an A650, 1/10 second, f/2.8, ISO-80, running script MDFB-080414-DigicIII. Thanks to the script author!
Some observations: I had to run my pictures through PhotoShop to lighten them up a bit. Next time I shoot lightning at night I think I'll increase exposure time a little. (Although, two strikes were so close and intense, they essentially washed out.) Also, at night the threshold and pixel-step can be increased to minimize triggering from strikes not in the frame.
