I spoke too soon. The reason you saw so few items is that the item with ID 62 (after "Text Reader - Wrap by Words") is not used in Allbest, but is in Juciphox. My code fell over at that point with an out of bounds exception. Looks like the properties file I need to add will have to encode types as well as names. Still should be possible though.

It turned out that it was still easier to 'hard-wire' the new stuff. The new version here An Editor for CHDK.CFG Files now supports both Allbest and Juciphox builds.

I've updated the editor so that it supports the latest AllBest additions. There's now an App version for OSX too.

Another update - this time to Build 701 (e.g. "Force manual flash" has been added).

Someone reported a problem with the 701 version, so I've updated it to 813 ("Quality override" has been added).

I've rewritten my CFG file editor so that it is now table-driven. As a result, additions and changes to CHDK CFG files can be handled merely by editing the table (which is a simple text file). Actually there are now two editors - one lets you edit all entries, the other just OSD layout entries. The current version is based on CHDK build 2020.

See http://www.zenoshrdlu.com/cfgedit/chdkcfgedit.html

There's a new SDM version too - see http://www.zenoshrdlu.com/cfgedit/sdmcfgedit.html

I've just revised the CHDK CFG editors so they cope with 1.3 and 1.4 builds as well as the older 1.2 builds. See http://www.zenoshrdlu.com/cfgedit/chdkcfgedit.html
