Time lapse of the Resurrection plant

This is the Resurrection plant. These plants are highly evolved to dry up and live up to 50 years without any water. when placed in water this plant comes back to life in about 1 hour. Shots are taken at about 15 sec intervals and played at 30 fps. manual focus, white balance set to tungsten, the rest was left auto since light was constant. Using ultra intervalometer v1.0.
Canon A650 IS. I couldn't be happier with my camera especially after adding CHDK.

Cool! What you need is a close up shot of it folding out too, and let it be abit slower.. After the first 15 seconds, it kinda stays still. Very cool time lapse though, and great idea! I'm still wanting to capture some ice or an ice lolly melting, when I get round to it.

i shot at 1600x1200 so the detail is there. i can crop it in making the video when I figure that part out. It also looks good at 15 Fps and it's slower. the actual file looks much better than youtube but i have to find a place to host it.
Ultraintervalometer 1.0 really makes it a breeze and gives you great control.

That would be cool.. make some close up shots by using the full res images, maybe even pan across the image to give the effect of a servo operated rig and cut them all together into a final movie... cool!
