camera:Canon S3

Yeah, i know there has been stuff like this posted already...but i have specific probs.

As you know, the s3 hijacks all control to the camera when it is plugged into the computer. How do i avoid this? What software allows Direct capture (ive heard of Cam4you, but it costs too much).
thx all,

...and if you don't want to set up a complete Linux system, give andLinux.org -- Run Linux natively inside Windows a try: a Ubuntu Linux system running under Windows (2000/XP(2003)...not checker whether gPhoto runs under andLinux...

I don't understand why you ask, CameraWindow is installed with ZoomBrowser.
Update to latest version, it's free!

A more interesting question would be if CHDK can be used with remote capture?
