Hello

First of all thank you very for this wonderful hack, all the staff,the team and the developers for the hard work.

My question is this: is there any way (using chdk or not) to remove the timelapse limit (2 h) on Ixus70?

Thanks in advance to all

does the ixus70 has a built-in timelapse function? thought only the s-series have that. in what way is the 2h a limit? what exactly is limited there, the interval? the number of pictures?

Yes it has. According to the user guide, the recording time is limited to 2 hours, but I never reached that limit. Interval is limited to 1s or 2s, but it can be overwritten with propcase #265.

@pleshti: you can use an intervalometer script if you need to record more than 2 hours. There is probably a way to remove this limit, but it involves assembler and reverse engineering, I'm not sure it is worth the pain.

Thank you very much for the answer. Can you post me the links of propcase and intervalometer so i can see the grade of difficulty. Thanks again

A simple script to change the propcase:

There are several intervalometer scrips here: UBASIC/Scripts - CHDK Wiki
Prefer "accurate" intervalometers (there is also one here:

)
