I've formatted my card, ran the bootable.exe file, copied the diskboot.bin file to the card, locked the card, switched on the camera, and all I get is the card locked message. Have a clue what I am doing wrong?

Hi becker,

what card dow do have (size ?, SHDC ?), have you formatted it with FAT16 (FAT32 don't work) ?

-> With a SD card <= 4GB, formatted with FAT16, made bootable, with correct diskboot.bin in the root folder it should work...

You can use the Cardtricks Tool to do all this easily on windows...

I'm using a Transcend 4 GB SDHC, found here:

I'm relatively new to working with this software, so the more detailed instructions are, the better I'll understand. :)
