Where to copy the file for A590IS?
I have Photoshop CS3 and CS4, but I can't find "cameraraw" folder anywhere on my computer   :-[

The a710 profile looks good. honestly I can't tell what changed over your previous version. I only shooted outside with good light.

I have an A590IS and I downloaded the A720IS profile and put it in the correct folder.

When I open a DNG from the camera in Camera Raw 5.3 the only available camera profile is the "Embedded" option..........

Yep, because I had to delete a590 from download list - it seems a590 and ixus 950 don't use same sensor as a720 and profile has been giving purple result (it's not white balance problem). Right now I'm unable to make profile for a590, sorry.
