it works perfectly this way and halfpress works too...
someone on assembla posted a ticket with this problem on ixus sd1000 like mine, but he made some strange modifications... halfpress works for him too...

sorry for a late reply, there has been many replies to this thread, great to notice the acitivity and interest in chdk, but to be honnest i didnt comprehend all of it.
