Hi AllBest,

The problem with Tv bracketing persist whether I set the Tv manually via chdk, or I let the camera choose it.

One interesting thing I noticed is that the second and later exposure are done while the LCD screen is on (showing the last taken picture), normally the screen goes blank during exposure.

Any ideas?

Hello AllBest,

One more hint. Ewavr's revison 245 has Tv bracketing working on the SD700. So there is something to compare with.

And thank you for this fabulous release!

Or maybe I just don't know how to engage them. Could you (or someone) explain these features a little clearer (in english :-) )?
Hello, Barney! :)
I suggest u following order of actions to check work of this feature on s3-system. May be I didn't take into account particular qualities of s3
1.Set override factor and override value for the focus distance via menu system
2.Exit from alt menu and alt mode.
3.Set manual focus mode. Now u can observe focus distance override value on the display
4.Enter in alt mode
5.Use the zoom-toggle to change override value or left & right keys to change focus distance override factor
example: say you have a value that can be changed from 0 to 999.  You want to change it to 953.  Press the zoom-OUT button twice to change the 100's place digit, then increment that from 1 to 9 with Left & Right buttons.  Press the zoom-IN button once, to now change the 10's unit. Now change that from 1 to 5. Press zoom-IN once more time to change the 1's place, change that from 1 to 3. (or do this in reverse, starting at 1's, then 10's, then 100's.) All done. Your value is now at 953.  Instead of having to take forever to go from 1 to 953 by one digit each time.
You guessed my thoughts ;). I have an idea to realize it in such way
Thanks

Can someone please explain the "zoom-toggle" feature that is discussed in the last three posts?

I have tried without any success to activate this feature (on an S3 and on an A610). The zoom lever on these cameras seems completely inactive in any of the <ALT>-mode menus - these menus only seem to respond to the four-way controller.

I had no success in trying to follow AllBest's instructions  :(:
"1.Set override factor and override value for the focus distance via menu system
2.Exit from alt menu and alt mode.
3.Set manual focus mode. Now u can observe focus distance override value on the display
4.Enter in alt mode"
5.Use the zoom-toggle to change override value or left & right keys to change focus distance override factor"

Help would be greatly appreciated!

I tried EWAVR-164 and it works great (Tv bracketing in continuous mode).

Any idea?

Thanks,

I believe I solved the SD700 specific problem.

Please check it out on the SD700 page on Wikia. I will post the code once it's tested (it does not hurt other cameras).

I really like this feature a lot. But now I see why you would like the other way of setting numbers for this feature too. You wouldn't be limited to jumps of 10's, 100's, or 1000's.  (Oddly, this time I was hoping that the zoom lever would move the numbers faster, instead of click by click. :) )
Hi, Barn!
This feature was realized. Please try new build: http://malbe.nm.ru/chdk/
Thanks!
