Yeah, that's true - but we all (you also) can make it (the documentation) better by including our knowledge and experiences in the CHDK wikia
...for me as a non-native-english-spoken that's sometimes not so easy...
Well... English is not my native language either, I'm Dutch
I just started to use CHDK (StereoDatamaker version) a few weeks ago and I'm still trying to figure out what al the extra possibilities are and how to use them.
The problem is that a lot of features require a combination of multiple settings, often in more than one menu and for a newbie like me, these are usualy not very clear.
In photography magazines, when a photo is published, they also print the settings that were used like:
Camera: Canon EOS 400D
1/60 at f8
ISO 200
ND 0.6 grad filter
It would be great if users on this forum would do the same if they have made a new discovery or publish a photo that they have taken. It would than be something like:
Camera: xxx
CHDK version: xxx
Downloads - CHDK WikiCamera setting: manual / ISO xxx
Flash: Off
Focus: infinity
Shutter override in CHDK 1/250
Script: MDFB-080716-DigicIII.bas
Fast MD with burst/preview modeScript settings: Columns 6 / Rows 6 / Tresshold 15 / Compare interval 5 / trigger delay 5 / Channel 1 / etc......
Maybe too much to ask but it would make things a lot clearer and it would also eliminate all the extra questions
