Wow, really nice work. What camera(s) do you use for these images? The A590IS?

thanks!

its been a long while since i've shot with a p&s. i shoot with a rebel xti now.

i've gotten into doing macro shots lately. this is what my setup looks like right now:

i have an ebay extension tube set (i think its like 60mm or something around there), a 35-80mm ef lens, a 52-58 reverse mount filter thread, and my 18-55mm efs kit lens attached backwards using that reverse mount filter thing.

i just got the extension tube yesterday. i took these shots without the tube (the tube should bring things in even closer :))

5 blade gillette fusion razor:

ballpoint pen tip:

my bed sheet fabric (same sheet pictured above lol):

table salt:

ground pepper:

its crazy shooting at these magnifications. you have less than 1mm (if you're even that lucky) of depth of field to play with. shits nuts  :o

and this is my new fav shot i've taken lol.

lol i really have no say to post here, since i'm not using chdk anymore. it was fun while i used it, but i've moved on to a dslr, the p&s (even with chdk, though it was nice) just wasn't enough anymore. i still give everyone that developed chdk huge thanks, it really helped me get into photography! chdk really kickstarted my interest and progressed me to get better :)
